The Guide to Starting a Business
Get ready to launch
When we dream of starting a business it’s usually because we want the freedom of working for ourselves and the adventure of following our dreams and building something around our passions and talents.
But starting a business is like having a baby - it doesn’t come with an instruction manual.
There’s so much to do it can seem overwhelming.
But successful businesses don’t happen overnight.
They take hard work, determination and drive. I can’t change that for you, but I can give you a roadmap that helps you focus on the right things at the right time. You’ll benefit from my experience and advice as well as a lot of encouragement and support along the way.
“I really want my own business but I’m not sure what kind of business to start”
“I’m thinking of setting up a business and I know what I want to do” - product or service based, B2B or B2C
“I’ve started a business, but haven’t fully committed to it” - you might still be working full or part time in a regular job, or maybe you’re a mum or dad trying to build something while you raise a family.
“Ive started my business, but I’m finding it harder than I thought and there’s more to it than I imagined”
If you've ever said anything like that - then this course is for you.
It also covers practical things around funding, legal issues and accountants.
Most importantly - if you complete the course and all of the activities - you will have everything you need to start a successful business.
We believe strongly in what we do and if for any reason you are unhappy with the course we will refund your money as long as you notify us within 14 days of purchase.

Read MoreA great course, thanks Alison. I already had a business plan, but it is now much better developed thanks to this course, especially in terms of sales (and the wider marketing aspects too). I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who needs some help and guidance when starting out with their business.

Read MoreThank you for creating such a helpful guide. Before I started, I felt overwhelmed as I had a rough idea of where I wanted to go but no idea how to get there. I think that the most useful things about this course are that it breaks everything down step by step which helps you order your thoughts and that things I wouldn't have thought of myself - such as patenting or having a set day rate - were brought to my attention. I still have a to-do list as long as my arm but I no longer feel daunted about the prospect of working through it. I know exactly what I need to do, how to do it and that I'm not wasting my time. Thanks again, Adele
